Dr. David Duke has been invited by some Czech patriots to have a couple of lectures in Prague and in Brno. However, his lecture at the Charles University in Prague was canceled a few days before his arrival because of pressure from police and some pressure groups. Nevertheless, he was still about to have two another lectures and some meetings with his Czech friends.
Dr. Duke arrived on Thursday of April, 23rd in to Prague without any problem from the Czech police. He met with several Czech patriots and his security staff on Friday and spent the whole day walking around Prague’s city center and giving some interviews to the media.

In the evening, while resting with his company in a local pub in Prague’s picturesque district of Kampa, he was suddenly surprised by at least 30 strong police commando (mix of riot squad and anti-extremist plainclothes unit) whose chief had visible Star of David pendant on his neck. Without explanation, against complaints of Dr. Duke’s friends and without translator who should have explained to DD what was happening they have taken him away.

Immediately, two top rate lawyers have been called and message was spread among other patriots that Dr. David Duke has just been arrested. In 30 minutes we have found out the address of police station where he had been taken, both lawyers have been on the way a many comrades have been coming as well. While lawyers went inside the station to fight for Dr. Duke’s freedom, at least 50 supporters of the free speech have assembled outside, together with strong contingent of the Czech media.

After couple of hours lawyers have brought the information that Dr. Duke had been convicted of Holocaust denial that should had happened in his book “My Awakening”. He has been kept in a cell waiting for some transfer to the custody. However, during the night a state prosecutor decided that there are no reasons for Dr. Duke being held in the custody so he was immediately released and transferred to his friends in Prague. However, charges have not been dropped and Dr. Duke had been ordered to leave the Czech Republic in next 24 hours.

So, Dr. Duke is currently free but charged with Holocaust denial which in the Czech Republic might be punished up to 3 years. Two of the best Czech lawyers are fighting hard in his case and Czech patriots are raising money and support for Dr. Duke’s acquittal.
