Providers are called on to do more against “hate pages” on the Web
Internet providers will be expected to do more against violence- and hate-extolling pages on the Internet. A declaration of the European Parliament, which will be submitted to a plenary session in Strasbourg next week, is designed to give a decisive push in this direction. The draft of the declaration, which heise online has seen, calls on providers in somewhat vague language to make provisions against “hate pages” part of their standard terms and conditions. The ultimate object of the push by five EU Members of Parliament, Glyn Ford and Claude Moraes of the UK’s Labour Party, the Hungarian Liberal Party member Viktória Mohácsi and the two German European Members of Parliament Bernd Posselt (Christian Social Union; CSU) and Feleknas Uca (The Left Party), is to banish racism and hate propaganda from the Internet altogether. The preamble to the declaration mentions anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and anti-Romany campaigns. Should the providers refuse to act more forcefully the five initiators of the declaration have vowed to pressure the European Commission into drafting appropriate legislation.
Pupils are urged to drop maths
Pupils are being discouraged from taking A-level maths as schools in England chase higher places in the league tables, scientists have claimed.
The Royal Society of Chemistry said that as maths was a difficult subject, schools feared examination failures which would threaten their standings.
Chief executive Richard Pike also said universities were increasingly having to run remedial classes in maths.
The Department for Education and Skills said more pupils were studying maths.
Dr Pike said: “Schools and students are reluctant to consider A-level mathematics to age 18, because the subject is regarded as difficult, and with league tables and university entrance governed by A-level points, easier subjects are taken.”
AlterMedia interviewed Bruno Gollnisch who is leading the newly formed patriotic group at the E.U. parliament. He is the vice-chairman of the French National front, which is one of France tree main political parties. Mr Gollnisch is a scholar. He is a Dr in Japan and used to teach Japanese in the French university of Lyon.
Mr. Gollnisch is working very hard to unite patriots on a European level and to support Jean-Marie Le Pen’s race to the presidency of France. That makes him a target of the enemies of free speech and of nations. He has just been sentenced to a three months suspended jail sentence, to a five thousand Euro fine and to pay another fifty five thousand Euro to different associations because he dared to suggest that historians should have the right debate about World War II history.
In this interview, Mr Gollnisch will tell us more about free speech, civil rights issues in the E.U. And more specifically in France.
Man thrown off jet for Bush T-shirt
A man was removed from a Qantas flight to London because he would not take off a T-shirt with a picture of President Bush and the slogan “World’s 1 terrorist.”
Allen Jasson said Monday he was turned away last Friday at a Qantas departure gate in Melbourne.
Jasson said he wore the shirt unchallenged through official security checks, then approached a Qantas staff member at the gate to draw attention to it because he had been asked to remove it before boarding a domestic flight days earlier.
Gollnisch Fined for Words
Against the law to ask questions
January 18th, 2007
LYON, France (Reuters) – A French court handed a leading far-right French politician a three-month suspended jail sentence and fined him 5,000 euros ($6,500) on Thursday for questioning the Holocaust.
The Lyon court found Bruno Gollnisch, No. 2 in the far-right National Front party, had “disputed a crime against humanity” in remarks he made during a news conference in the eastern French city on October 11, 2004.
The judge also ordered Gollnisch to pay 55,000 euros in damages to the plaintiffs, and to pay for the judgment to be published in the newspapers that originally printed his remarks.
Gollnisch was not in court for the verdict because he was attending a session of the European Parliament, where he recently became the leader of a new far-right political group called Identity, Tradition and Sovereignty.
In its ruling the court said Gollnisch had called into question the number of Jews killed during World War Two and whether gas chambers had been used to kill them.
“Historians have the right to discuss the number of deaths and the way that they died. Fifty years after the facts we can discuss the real number of deaths,” Gollnisch was quoted as saying at the time.
He also said that the “existence of the gas chambers is for historians to discuss.” (….Full Article Here)

CNN cut out the introduction where Mr Blitzer called Mr Duke KKK leader 11 times.
WOLF BLITZER: Joining us now live from Tehran is the former Louisiana state representative, David Duke.
Mr. Duke, thanks very much for coming in. What do you say to those who say — who charge, and there are many, that you’re there in Tehran at this Holocaust conference simply because you hate Jews?
DAVID DUKE: Well, first off, Mr. Blitzer, I resent the introduction you made of me. You mentioned the Ku Klux Klan 11 times. That was over 30 — well, 30 years ago in my life, and since that time I got elected to the House of Representatives, I became — and I received a full doctorate, I have been a teacher, I have one of the best selling books in the world.
Proof: the Media Lies About the Holocaust Conference in Tehran. Here is proof of the lies of the Zionist-influenced media.
It is being reported around the world that in my speech in Tehran that I stated that the “gas chambers did not exist.” You can read and even listen to my speech right here on www.davidduke.com.
I said no such thing! In fact I said specifically that I take no position on that issue but that I believe in freedom of speech and find it an outrage that men such as David Irving are in prison for simply voicing an intellectual, historical opinion. Listen to my speech yourself at www.davidduke.com!
The Zionist-influenced media has maintained that the purpose of the conference was to deny the Holocaust — when the actual, stated purpose was to provide free speech on this important historical issue and to protest against the suppression of free speech in some European countries. The record of the conference is clear. There were many speeches at the conference that maintained the mainstream Holocaust view.
David Duke is a very famous politician in the U.S. who promotes racial separation. In 1991 he ran for governor of Louisiana, 65 of the white population voted for him.

Blue Eyes Less Common in U.S. Residents of European Descent. Green and Brown Eyes Dominant Over Blue Eyes
Blue eyes are becoming less common in U.S. residents who identify themselves in census and other records as being of European, non-Hispanic ancestry. This is probably because the blue-eyed trait tends to be recessive or less likely to express when genetic influences of brown or green eyes are present.
Annals of Human Biology reported in November 2002 that the blue-eyed trait among people of European, non-Hispanic descent in the United States declined from about 57% in people born between 1899 to 1905 to about 34% among people born between 1936 and 1951.
